At Metagro, we bundle all technical disciplines under one roof. By implementing Smart Industry technologies, we offer an efficient way of working. Using fully automated powder coating lines, welding robots and 3D laser cutting machines, we achieve perfection down to the smallest details. Our data-driven process continuously ensures improvements and innovation.
Engineering
Need customization? That’s what we are good at. Our in-house engineers create a design in 3D and translate your requirements into a quality and functional solution. The visualizations of the 3D drawings provide insights that contribute to your optimal design.
The 3D drawings allow us to identify all bottlenecks before they can be made. This ensures clear communication, it prevents planning delays and failure costs during execution. Thanks to 3D visualization, Metagro can also determine in advance whether the cabin, housing or structure is strong enough for your application by simulating static or dynamic loads. The drawing can also be read into the complete design of your crane, vehicle/vessel or other structure.
Sheet Metal
Metagro produces single pieces (prototypes) and serial sheet metal using techniques such as laser cutting and CNC bending (typesetting). In addition, Metagro can roll, drum (deburr), drill and tap sheet metal. Metagro has been processing sheet metal for years. We can also perform additional operations for you, such as assembling your product, welding if necessary and, if desired, coating it.
With laser cutting you get cut and edged sheet metal from steel, aluminum, stainless steel and exotic material in any shape you want. Our men and women know their trade. They are steel masters who can meet any challenge. Modern welding robots support the process and ensure higher production with continuously good quality.
3D Sheet Metal Press
At Metagro, we have not been idle on the technological front. For example, we have invested in an SMG Sheet Metal Press. This investment allows Metagro to better distinguish itself in the market. The new press allows us to produce at a much lower cost. We start with 5 sheet metal parts that previously had to be outsourced, for about 1,500 cabins per year. Moreover, there are only 2 or 3 other parties in Europe that also have such a unique press like this one.
Mount
Metagro presses complex products out of material from 1 to 20 mm and has six modern CNC press brakes and a CNC press brake with bending robot. These machines guarantee you high-quality bending work. With a wide range of press brake tools, Metagro can manufacture the most complex products in both thin and thicker sheet metal. We also deliver custom bending work. The CNC press brake with bending robot makes it possible to produce serial bending unmanned, resulting in high continuous quality with high delivery reliability and at a good price.
Welding robots
Innovation and quality are important pillars of Metagro. This is reflected in our products and processes. Our welders work accurately and hold various welding certificates. Welding robots support our process and ensure even more constant production and high quality. It is directly connected and controlled by our ERP system. Thus, we reduce breakdowns to almost zero.

Coating
We can provide your products with an appropriate coating system. We offer both powder coating and KTL treatments. Metagro has a modern production hall of approximately 5,000 m2, a unique and fully automated production line and the largest KTL bath in the Netherlands (4.0 x 2.1 x 2.1 m). The line consists of a very extensive pre-treatment series in which the products are cleaned, as a basis for the cataphoresis paint. The KTL coating provides an anti-corrosion coating on your product. After the KTL treatment, the product can be finished with a powder coating or wet paint.
